Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Clinician NP PA to join our team at Ascension Milwaukee Hospitals. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
  • Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
  • Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
  • Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal all denials in a timely manner.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree in Nursing and be credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing. Preferred credentials include Drug Enforcement Administration certification.
