Position Summary

The Connect Team is on the lookout for skilled individuals with backgrounds in customer service or call center environments to bolster our growing CARES Team. The Connect Team Agent, also referred to as a Consumer Eligibility Associate, should be a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting where responsibilities may shift rapidly. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and adept at achieving targets while adhering to GoHealth's policies and all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a representative committed to delivering an exceptional consumer experience on every interaction.
  • Assist incoming consumer inquiries through the initial purchasing journey by effectively screening calls for appropriate sales team transfers.
  • Conduct outbound outreach to potential consumers using an automated dialing system.
  • Understand and meet specific performance metrics, including transfer rates and qualitative standards.
  • Adhere to Federal CMS and State legal standards while quickly assimilating GoHealth's policies and procedures.
  • Utilize multiple systems to assist consumers effectively.

Desired Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or retail.
  • A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's or Associate degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in call centers or telemarketing is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new sales through effective cold-calling and prospecting techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Exceptional customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong drive for success.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and performance-oriented environment, with self-motivation.
  • Collaborative mindset: Works effectively with managers and team members, appreciating their insights and contributions.
