Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer experience from sale to completion
  • Identify prospective customers and proactively work leads
  • Provide product expertise to current and potential customers
  • Meet division expectations for number of proposals and closing sales ratios
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors' products
  • Conduct sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads, and manage accounts
  • Participate in bidding, pre-construction services, budgeting, and project planning for projects
  • Recognize on-site activities impeding progress or jeopardizing project requirements
  • Review estimates to ensure accuracy for equipment costs, travel costs, and product pricing
  • Assist and approve agreements & contracts involved in the sales process
  • Project manage contracts from inception to close
  • Assist production, field installers in managing project budget
  • Prepare, quotes and negotiate change orders with client
  • Analyze competitors and review with management

Requirements

  • Preferred but not required bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience
  • Course of study: Construction Management or Business Management
  • Prefer experience in Trades - Framing & Sheathing, Insulation, Firestopping, Fireproofing, Waterproofing, AVB, Waterproofing, Expansion Joints, Sealants, etc.
  • Sales, Estimating, Project Management work experienced needed (3-5 years)
  • Strong Mathematics skills in order to manage project expenses and revenue
  • Proficient use of On-Screen Takeoff Software and/or Quick Bid Software & MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Obtain applicable certifications/licenses as required
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
