Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Corporate Accounting team as a summer intern. As a Corporate Accounting Intern, you will play a critical role in our monthly and quarterly financial reporting process, working closely with our team to develop and implement financial reporting platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating process improvements within our Workiva Wdesk Software as a Service (SaaS) solution to increase accuracy and timeliness of reporting
  • Developing cross-document linking throughout Wdesk for our internal quarterly reporting, earnings release, and investor presentation
  • Designing and implementing controls and validations throughout the interconnected documents to ensure proper links have been created
  • Working directly with our Workiva customer success manager to understand new tools and use that knowledge to train others within the Corporate Accounting department
  • Assisting in the review of quarterly 10-Q and 8-K XBRL tagging
  • Exposure to our Enterprise Resource Platform (ERP) tool SAP
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and developing action plans
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Managing positive relationships with internal partners to deliver results and support business performance

To be eligible for consideration, candidates must:

  • Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
  • Have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a junior or non-graduating senior
  • Have a strong initiative for process improvements and a desire to see and create results
