Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive care experience and work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Tasks: Prepare patients for office visits, perform focused nursing assessments, and provide health education and advice on routine medical conditions.
  • Clinical Procedures: Perform diagnostic tests, administer medications, and provide wound care under the direction of a clinician.
  • Practice Management Activities: Maintain patient schedules, respond to messages, and facilitate follow-up duties on patient plans of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Practical Nurse License (Washington) within 6 months of hire
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Demonstrated clinical nursing skills, interpersonal and customer service skills, and literacy in using computers and keyboarding
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2+) years of nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting
  • IV therapy experience or recent certification
  • Familiarity with documenting in an electronic medical record system
