Job Summary

As a Full-Time Registered Nurse Supervisor at UNM Hospitals, you will play a vital role in leading our nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care. We are seeking a seasoned nurse with strong leadership skills and a passion for advancing the nursing profession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and technicians to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care
  • Recruit, retain, and develop nursing staff to meet the needs of our patients and the hospital
Requirements
  • 2 years of direct experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting
  • Current RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
