This role is responsible for facilitating patient access into the hospital and clinical systems by providing registration, admission, and bed assignment services while protecting the fiscal interest of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Supervisor of Patient Access, this position ensures seamless patient registration and admission processes.
• Provides accurate and timely registration, admission, and bed assignment services to patients and families.
• Protects the fiscal interest of the hospital by ensuring accurate and compliant billing practices.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive patient information with discretion.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one to three years of Registration, Hospital Billing experience required.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate, preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with ability to work accurately with detailed confidential information.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
