Patient Care Associate

Emerson Hospital seeks a skilled Patient Care Technician to provide assistance with nursing care of patients as needed under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing care principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients as directed by licensed nursing personnel
- Assist with vital sign measurements and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant training program strongly preferred
- Minimum of one year acute care experience or medical/surgical clinical experience preferred
- BLS healthcare provider certification required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
