Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director to lead our childcare center in Carmel. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children and staff, and maintaining the center's accreditation and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management
    • Oversee the overall direction and strategy of the center
    • Manage and support teaching staff, promoting their professional development
    • Interview, hire, and train new staff members
  • Operational Management
    • Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies
    • Maintain the center's accreditation and PTQ Level 4 status
    • Manage the budget and accounts, ensuring the center's financial stability
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders
    • Meet with parents to discuss their children's progress and center policies

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree with at least 15 Early Childhood Education Credits or CDA
    • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field
