CNC Machinist

Location: Bloomfield, CT
Duration: 12+ months (Possibility of extension)
Pay Rate: 45-50/hr on w2 depending on the experience
Description:
This is an on-site position that requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and CNC programming. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD software, G-Code programming, and root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and investigations to improve mechanical product design, functionality, and maintenance
- Develop and implement engineering drawings and blueprints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
- Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality and production issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years of experience in a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with CAD software, G-Code programming, and root cause analysis
Preferred Experience:
- Fanuc and Okuma experience preferred

- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Advanced ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations
- Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
