Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will provide high-quality psychological testing, counseling, and evaluations to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer, score, and interpret psychometric and projective tests to assess patients' mental health needs.
  • Conduct initial interviews with patients, gather relevant information, and provide professional interpretations of their presentation.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, selecting appropriate modalities to address patients' needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention and therapy services to patients in need, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Collaborate with referring professionals, social agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical procedures and patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • 2+ years of post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting or a pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral internship, or fellowship at Kaiser Permanente.
  • California Psychologist License and adherence to organization, department, state, and federal guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship in an APA-approved program.
  • Experience in assessing for child/adult ASD and ADHD.
