Job Responsibilities

The Transportation/Civil Engineer II will be responsible for performing design and project management activities in support of airside and landside civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of discipline and small multidisciplinary teams
  • Design of runways, taxiways, aprons and roadways
  • Stormwater and utility infrastructure design
  • Pavement design and assessment
  • Aircraft parking layout and passenger boarding bridge modeling
  • Coordination with airports, airlines, FAA and permitting agencies
  • Construction management and inspection
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Transportation/Civil Engineer II must have:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited ABET university
  • Experience with land development, roadway or civil aviation design infrastructure
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience
  • California Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months required
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
