Job Summary

St Marys Cement U.S. is seeking a skilled Production Operator III to join our team in monitoring and maintaining the cement mill system.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor supply of materials in feed bins and replenish as needed to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Measure tanks and silos, reporting measurements to Production Operator I and/or Production Coordinator to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, including oiling and adjusting as needed to prevent downtime.
  • Operate mobile equipment such as front-end loaders, bulldozers, skid-steer loaders, and forklifts to facilitate production and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments, and report unusual production problems to the Production Coordinator to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Verify incoming clinker trucks to ensure accurate placement in storage areas.
  • Clean up spills from conveyor belts and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient production environment.
  • Monitor conveyors, product, and process to identify and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental procedures to minimize the company's ecological footprint.
  • Conduct routine planned work observations to identify areas for improvement and optimize production processes.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Prior production utility experience, preferably in a cement mill system environment.
