Rehabilitation Specialist

This role is situated within a healthcare facility dedicated to providing comprehensive rehabilitation services. The selected candidate will deliver therapeutic interventions, expert advice, and educational resources to a diverse patient population.
Relocation Support:
Eligible candidates may receive reimbursement for relocation costs in accordance with organizational policies.
Housing Options:

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic services addressing physical impairments, neurological conditions, and psychosocial challenges for patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.
- Formulate individualized treatment strategies by analyzing patient information and considering their physical and psychological states, as well as their willingness to engage in therapy.
- Assess and create treatment plans for patients referred by medical professionals, utilizing independent clinical judgment to tailor interventions to meet specific patient needs.
- Maintain awareness of potential risks associated with treatment modalities to ensure patient safety.
- Review relevant literature and develop educational materials for use by the healthcare team.
Employment Conditions
- The selected candidate may be required to complete a probationary period.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

- This position involves direct contact with children, necessitating a thorough background check.
- Immunizations for Measles, Rubella, and seasonal influenza are required for all personnel.
- COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory prior to starting the role.
- The individual must secure and maintain clinical privileges, including any necessary licensure.
- Shift work may be necessary.
- Successful completion of the E-Verify employment verification process is required.
Background Investigation
Selected candidates must undergo a fingerprint check and background investigation prior to employment. Continued employment is contingent upon the successful completion of this investigation.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate relevant experience and/or education that aligns with the responsibilities outlined.
Basic Requirements
- Education: A graduate or higher-level degree from an accredited program in physical therapy.
- Licensure: A current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the U.S. is required, along with successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination.
Minimum Qualifications
In addition to the basic requirements, candidates must meet one of the following:
- At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, including conducting patient evaluations and implementing treatment plans.
- Completion of three years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a doctoral degree.
- A combination of education and specialized experience that meets the minimum qualifications.
