We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator to join our team at VetJobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the screening and evaluation of patients to determine their suitability for assessment screenings and/or psychiatric diagnostic interviews.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the intake process for patients, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and documented.
- Screen patients to determine their appropriateness for assessment screenings and/or psychiatric diagnostic interviews.
- Provide information to other appropriate sources of treatment if unable to assist.
- Ensure the provision of accessible, high-quality, cost-effective behavioral health services that meet the needs of those we serve.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related behavioral health discipline.
- Assessment and/or crisis intervention experience.
