Job Title: Assistant/Associate/Professor in Neonatology

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced neonatologist to join our faculty at UTHealth Houston. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of our neonatal care program, participate in clinical research, and provide direct patient care in our Level IV neonatal intensive care unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of our neonatal follow-up program, including the creation of a state-of-the-art neurodevelopmental follow-up program.
  • Participate in clinical research aligned with your interests and expertise, leveraging our extensive research facilities and collaborative environment.
  • Provide direct patient care as part of a skilled team of neonatology faculty and neonatal nurse practitioners in our Level IV NICU.
  • Supervise and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in the care of NICU patients.
  • Develop and sustain an environment that supports excellence and innovation in clinical practice and patient care.
Qualifications:

The selected candidate must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Board certification/eligibility in neonatal perinatal medicine is required. A track record of success in program development, research, and scholarly achievement, as well as recognition as a leader and innovator in neonatal care and follow-up, is highly desirable.
