Dynamic Access LLC is seeking an experienced Vascular Access Nurse to work as a Clinical Educator on a part-time or as-needed basis in the Seattle area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide infusion and vascular access education and training to clients on an on-demand or ongoing basis.
- Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the skills of healthcare professionals in the field of vascular access.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Area Clinical Educator to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate learners on best practices in vascular access.
- Coach and precept learners during return skill demonstrations to ensure proficiency in vascular access procedures.
- Ensure necessary paperwork is completed by learners and submit accurate Employee Expenses in a timely manner.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of AVA, INS, and CDC standards, position statements, and best practice guidelines.
- Represent Dynamic Access LLC in a positive and professional manner, both in the workplace and in the community.
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Registered Nurse with a current, valid license and if required by the State Board of Nursing, also in the State where teaching.
- 5+ years of nursing experience, with 1 year's experience in infusion therapy and/or vascular access preferred.
- Board Certification by Association of Vascular Access (VA-BC) and/or Certification by Infusion Nurses Certification Corporation (CRNI) upon hire or able to obtain within 12 months of hire.
- Demonstrates ability to interact and communicate effectively, and demonstrates proficiency with computers and general office machines.
- Background screening required, including but not limited to criminal background check, drug test, reference check, sex offender database check, and OIG check.
