Job Title: Pantry Attendant

At Golden West Communities, we are seeking a skilled and friendly Pantry Attendant to join our Dining Services team. As a Pantry Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a quality experience for our residents when ordering meals or making a purchase from the Pantry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter orders and sales into the POS system
  • Pull and prep items according to production sheets and menus, or as directed by supervisor
  • Prepare pastries and other goods to be sold during pantry hours
  • Assist with the preparation of meals, special functions/events, and caterings according to established menus and schedules or as directed by supervisor
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of food and equipment temperatures throughout all food preparation processes
  • Maintain communication with production team members to ensure appropriate amounts of product are available to meet customer expectations
  • Prepare grab & go and retail (Outtakes) items as needed or as directed by supervisor
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with the master cleaning schedule and State and County food service regulations
  • Complete all cleaning duties as assigned throughout the dining room
  • Assist other team members as needed or directed by supervisor
Requirements:
  • Must display a positive attitude and take and follow direction well
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs., push pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for at least 60 minutes at a time and bend, twist, turn, and kneel as needed to complete accountabilities
  • Must have arm, hand, wrist, and finger dexterity and strength needed to complete accountabilities, such as reaching up and out with arms, grasping with hands/fingers, and wrist twisting/turning
