Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset reconciliation.
  • Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review project activity and report on variances, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Correspond with other departments to ensure proper accounting for revenue, purchases, and expenses.
  • Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope, demonstrating your analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience or Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of previous accounting experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation, as well as knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices and procedures.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with a considerable amount of judgment and initiative.
