Clinical Nurse Specialist

Christopher's Reason is a fully operating licensed OASAS 822 Outpatient clinic equipped with a full medical, clinical, and peer support team. We are seeking to hire a part-time Clinical Nurse Specialist bilingual in Spanish with familiarity and experience in the field of addiction to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Monitor and assess client conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer subcutaneous injections.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform specimen collection processing and coordinate laboratory testing.
- Observe clients under treatment to identify and progress, side-effects of medications etc.
- Maintains timely, accurate, and appropriate documentation of clients medical history.
- Accurately prepare notes when working with the DR/NP.
- Report daily and brief team of shift changes.
- Valid RN license and registration.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Experience in SUD
- Familiarity with administering injections and medications.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
