Clinical Director

Empowered Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director to lead our team of Nurse Practitioners in the New York area. As a Clinical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our business and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage the clinical operations of The Specialty Care Group.
- Provide supervision and consultation to all onboarding and active nurse practitioners in the nursing home and assisted living environment.
- Monitor clinical staff development needs and implement improvement strategies with the CEO's approval.
- Professionally screen new candidates and assist as needed in the onboarding process.
- Monitor and operate medical equipment, as needed.
- Administer medicine and other treatments.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
- CNP/Certified Nurse Practitioner License (A Nurse Practitioner is certified under section 6910 of the New York State Education Law and licensed as a Registered Nurse.)
- Graduate of a state-registered Nurse Practitioner Program OR is certified as a Nurse Practitioner by a National Association.
- Primary Care or Geriatric experience in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home.
- Experience using diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and implement appropriate treatments.
- Experience managing a diverse staff and client base is essential.
- Ability to communicate important health information effectively and compassionately.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with the elderly.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- DEA required.
