Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and occasionally prepare various tax returns for businesses, individuals, and fiduciaries (including forms 1065, 1120, 1120-S, 1040, 1041, etc.)
  • Lead client tax projects and collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive tax services throughout the year, including tax forecasts and estimated payments.
  • Conduct tax research and partner with senior management on complex client issues.
  • Guide and mentor staff in tax preparation, research methodologies, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to address tax audits and resolve inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Provide additional tax-related services as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Recent experience in public accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial tax role across various client sectors.
  • Possession of a CPA or EA certification is essential.
  • Proficient in Pro Series Tax software, with hands-on experience in preparing tax returns.
  • Strong grasp of GAAP principles and solid accounting expertise.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and leadership abilities.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to working on-site regularly, as this position does not offer remote work options.
