Senior Electronics Sales Director

Job Summary:
The Global Techcon Sales Director will lead the sales of all Techcon products and manage the Techcon sales team, manufacturer's representatives, and channel partners in the region. This position will be responsible for achieving sales and profitability targets for OK International.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results.
2. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
3. Create specific country sales strategies in US, Mexico, APAC, EMEA, and Canada.
4. Supervise team members, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, rewarding, disciplining employees, performance reviews, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
5. Implement global sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
6. Analyze sales statistics to track and predict growth of Techcon Portfolio.
7. Develop, maintain, and improve business relations with OKI distributors, reps, and end customers.
8. Identify new customers and sales opportunities, initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for OKI brands.
9. Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
10. Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
11. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
12. Prepare and administer department budget.
13. Establish performance goals to achieve OKI metrics for department employees and monitor performance on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
14. Coordinate customer payment and credit terms in support of the Operations and Finance departments.
15. Maintain sales staff job results by coaching, monitoring, and reviewing job results of employees.
16. Generate, issue, and improve monthly and project reports for internal use and Dover management.
17. Provide department leadership and communicate company vision and culture.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.
19. Travel 75%.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 10 years sales experience within the electronics, semiconductor, or industrial markets.
2. Minimum 5 years sales management of direct sales team.
3. Experience selling through distribution and direct sales channels.
Education Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or other technical field.

$150,000.00 - $175,000.00
