Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Supervisor to oversee the Sound and Video Communications department at Wynn Las Vegas. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing infrastructure, supervising operations teams, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and production value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain existing infrastructure with the highest standards, ensuring all wiring is well-organized, clean, and serviceable.
  • Supervise operations teams to meet the demands of the current workload, including all events and requests from outside departments.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external departments, vendors, and clients.
  • Provide positive feedback, coaching, and enforce progressive discipline as necessary.
  • Ensure the department delivers a maximum level of customer service, guest service, and production value.
  • Work with safety as a priority and follow department and company safety standards.
  • Implement and apply Wynn Las Vegas core values, property, and department standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six plus (6+) years' experience in a commercial, hospitality, and residential Audio & Visual system installation and/or operations role.
  • Complete understanding of signal flow for sound, video, networking, and Crestron control systems.
  • Knowledge of various data control protocols, including Crestron, RS232, TCPIP, and Bacnet.
  • Knowledge of networked video and audio transmission standards, such as HDBaseT, streaming JPG, H.264, SVSI, Dante, AVB, Blu-Link, Audio Architect, and Q-SYS.
  • Experience with large satellite distribution and MATV feeds.
  • Knowledge of single-mode and multi-mode fiber distribution and installation.

  • Ability to work under pressure and supervise and lead technicians, external departments, and outside vendors.
  • Confidence in your abilities, self-motivation, quick learning, and drive to expand your knowledge base.
  • Willingness to define, practice, and conform to safe working procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal skills with proven talents in leadership, safety, and teamwork.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Work Environment:

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb, or balance, and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate, but may increase to loud during events and some back of house areas.
