Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize incoming patients, providing timely and effective care
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and stabilize patients as needed
  • Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and support
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (ASN) from Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
  • Compact license accepted; BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
  • Current BLS- Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting, with one year of ED experience required
  • CEN and/or CPEN certification preferred
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course certification must be obtained within one year of employment start date
  • TNCC/ENPC certification required within 18 months
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or Satori Alternatives Management certification must be obtained within one year of employment start date
