Cardiac Device Technician Faculty Group Practice CRAT certification highly preferred

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Device Technician to join our team at NYU Langone Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Nurse Practitioners and Physicians in the management of patients with implanted cardiac devices requiring cardiac device therapy.
Key Responsibilities:- Scheduling and conducting clinic and remote appointments for patients with implanted cardiac devices.
- Registering patients on vendor websites for remote monitoring systems and monitoring websites for urgent alerts.
- Downloading and analyzing clinical device transmissions, including pacemaker, ICD device, and loop recorder data.
- Interrogating and programming pacemakers, ICD devices, and loop recorders under the direct supervision of physicians and cardiac device certified allied professionals.
- Setting up and reporting on Holter Monitor data.
- Maintaining accurate and complete documentation and records, generating reports as needed, and ensuring data integrity.
- Participating in quality assurance activities, including remote monitoring patient compliance.
- Graduate of an accredited EKG school, Cardiac Arrhythmia Technology Program, or equivalent training/experience in interpreting cardiac arrhythmias.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
