We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Device Technician to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for assisting Nurse Practitioners and Physicians in the management of patients with implanted cardiac devices.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain a remote monitoring program for patients with implanted cardiac devices
- Download and analyze clinical device transmissions
- Interrogate and program pacemakers, ICD devices, and loop recorders under physician supervision
- Monitor transmission status of remotely monitored device patients
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation and records
- Graduate of an accredited EKG school or equivalent training/experience in interpreting cardiac arrhythmias
- Certified Rhythm Analysis technician (CRAT) from CCI or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
