We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Device Technician to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Nurse Practitioners and Physicians in the management of patients with implanted cardiac devices requiring cardiac device therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and registering patients for remote monitoring systems
- Monitoring and downloading clinical device transmissions
- Interrogation and programming of pacemakers, ICD devices, and loop recorders under physician supervision
- Preparing preliminary reports for physicians
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records
- Graduate of an accredited EKG school or Cardiac Arrhythmia Technology Program
- Equivalent training or experience in interpreting cardiac arrhythmias
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
