Job Title: Bartender

Job Summary:

The Bartender is a key member of our Gale Hotels team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be the face of our hotel's bar, serving a wide range of cocktails, beers, and wines to our discerning patrons.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines, to our guests.
  • Interact with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations on our menu.
  • Assess customer needs and preferences, making recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Prepare and maintain ingredients, following recipes and ensuring high-quality presentation.
  • Plan and present our bar menu, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection of options.
  • Coordinate daily supply inventory, submitting orders to our supervisor and assisting with receipt of deliveries.
  • Verify customer identification and confirm they meet the legal drinking age.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, listening to complaints and suggestions, and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bartender in a similar upscale hospitality setting.
  • Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of craft cocktails, liquors, beers, wines, and tobacco products.

Education and Language Skills:

  • High School degree, GED, or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (preferred).

Reasoning Ability:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, associates, and external partners.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
