Job Summary:

As a SAP BW Application Engineer with Randstad, you will be part of the Strategic Enterprise Capabilities (SEC) development team with a leading global footwear & retail company. Your responsibilities will include working on development projects and enhancements requested by business, as well as supporting data load failures, incidents in production systems that couldn't be resolved by the Frontline BW team. Additionally, you will:

Prepare solution design for Interim solutions (migration of business processes in SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA) and engage in build/test/deployment activities

Support system copy activities from Production to Quality / Pre-production systems

Develop / Enhance BW on Hana dataflows, start / end / expert routines and customer exits, custom BW extractors, CDS Views, HANA tables

Work with Autosys team to schedule / monitor dataloads in BW systems

Work with Basis team to fix system specific issues, implementing SAP notes, transports, housekeeping activities, monitoring system health and configuring systems

Requirements:

Solid experience developing BW solutions in BW4/HANA and/or BW On HANA (DTPs, Transformations, ABAP Routines, AMDP, DataSources, ADSOs, Composite Providers, STMS, etc.). Good ABAP experience is a must.

Experience pulling data from S/4 / SLT and via CDS views and ODP, intimately knows SAP DDIC

Native HANA development and modeling - SQL, Eclipse / HANA Studio, Calculation views, Analytic views, Attribute views, etc.

Nice to have:

ChaRM, Autosys, SAC/Fiori, Splunk, GIT Hub, Jenkins, Kafka, AWS / S3, Azure Blob, Python / PySpark

Hands-on experience of at least two end to end implementation projects using SAP BW 7.5 4/on HANA

Understanding of LSA/LSA++ architecture and development standards

Knowledge on SAP S/4 and/or ECC Business processes, functional aspects in Sales, Billing, Finance, Controlling, Supply chain

Experience in performance optimization and support activities

Experience in SAP DI, SAP BPC, migration of SAP systems to cloud

Location: Oregon

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $20.00 - 23.30 per hour

Work Hours: 8am to 4pm

Education: No Degree Required
