About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join our Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning team at Nike. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable applications that leverage prediction models and optimization programs to deliver data-driven decisions that result in immense business impact.

You will work closely with our global team, including commercial and consumer analytics, and enterprise architecture teams, to develop and deploy machine learning solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in machine learning, data engineering, and software development, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable machine learning applications
  • Develop and deploy predictive and optimization models
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and data engineering
Requirements
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, machine learning, or related fields
  • Strong background in machine learning, data engineering, and software development
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with cloud architecture and technologies, especially Amazon Web Services
  • Expertise in MLOps or API development is highly desirable
