OSP Advanced Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced OSP Engineer to join our team. As an OSP Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing outside plant infrastructure for our clients. This will include estimating, analyzing, designing, planning, budget tracking, and preparing and interpreting engineering plans, drawings, and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement outside plant infrastructure for our clients
- Estimate and analyze costs for projects
- Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports
- Plan and design field-mounted switch serving areas
- Perform pole, conduit, and buried facility design measurements
- Assist engineers as requested
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of COE/OSP principles, work order procedures, voice/data industry standards, PC applications, and COE/OSP record and/or computer-aided drafting systems
- Ability to perform quality control on engineering work for other team members
- Experience/understanding with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) for engineering requirements
- Ability to indicate existing voice/data plant location and relocate facilities
