Job Summary

As a Maintenance Supervisor at SSM Health, you will oversee and provide guidance to staff in maintenance for a department within a business unit or specific ministry location. This role involves supervising daily maintenance services, recruiting and developing staff, and administering the disciplinary process as needed. You will also assist in developing and managing maintenance annual capital and operating budgets, and participate in the development and support of a strategic plan for maintenance services.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide guidance to staff on a daily basis, recruiting as necessary and encouraging staff development and growth.
  • Supervise daily maintenance services to meet the expectations of all customers served.
  • Assist in developing, submitting, and managing maintenance annual capital and operating budgets for a department within a business unit or specific ministry location of responsibilities.
  • Participate in the development and support of a strategic plan for maintenance services, ensuring alignment with system strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in the development, review, and revising of policies and procedures that align with department operations.
  • Participate in planning and managing the physical environment of care with the policies of the campus, The Joint Commission (TJC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and any other applicable federal, state, and local statutes and administrative codes.
  • Supervise the purchase of supplies, equipment, and services ensuring uninterrupted service to a business unit or specific ministry of responsibility.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four years' experience.
Work Environment

This role is based in Oklahoma City, OK, and requires a constant state of alertness and safe manner. The physical environment of care is managed in accordance with the policies of the campus, The Joint Commission (TJC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and any other applicable federal, state, and local statutes and administrative codes.
