Vesta Realty Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Vesta Realty is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and cleanliness in our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement planned maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct daily physical inspections of the community to detect potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Organize and supervise the activities of maintenance staff, assigning tasks and ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, work orders, and inventory levels.
  • Ensure that all maintenance equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Review and prepare monthly maintenance reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Participate in the VIP renewal system and service follow-up calls to residents to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist with performance evaluations of maintenance staff and provide feedback to improve their performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • CFC certification.
