Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Development Intern to join our Sales team. As a BDI, you'll play a key role in helping our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) increase sales volume by prospecting and creating pitches for delegated and self-selected accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct strategic research and analysis to identify potential opportunities for PCI in targeted territories.
  • Determine the most effective strategies for contacting potential clients, including cold calling, email, social media, and other communication methods.
  • Identify decision-makers in targeted accounts and determine which business units to target to create internal champions.
  • Assist with trade shows, conferences, and event needs as required.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, track the sales process, and gather information for the Sales team.
  • Help maintain the CRM's data integrity.
  • Identify qualified sales opportunities in greenfield accounts.
  • Present ideas on how to improve the outbound sales process and work collaboratively with other internal business units.
Requirements
  • Experience with multiple sales techniques and understanding of different sales performance metrics is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Experience with CRM software is a plus, but not required.
  • Prior exposure to the energy industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Disciplined, dedicated, goal-oriented, and ambitious individuals are encouraged to apply.
