Marketing Director Job Description

This is a key leadership role that will oversee the development and execution of the marketing strategy for Annapolis Town Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan that drives traffic and sales to the property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an annual marketing plan and budget, including market research, property goals, and objectives.
  • Manage the marketing budget to maximize property traffic and sales.
  • Plan and direct advertising, public relations, special events, sales promotions, community programming, and retailer relations activities.
  • Oversee event management and related activities, including planning, implementation, and attendance.
  • Manage all aspects of the property's digital program, including website, social media content, and digital signage/advertising programs.
  • Collaborate with the Trademark corporate marketing team to implement innovative technologies and enhance the customer and tenant experience.
  • Establish a tenant relations program and provide assistance with merchant strategies, research, and sales promotions.
  • Enhance Guest Services programming and work with the General Manager to select and operate seasonal decor and related holiday activities.
  • Secure cash/trade sponsorship of special events and community programs and find innovative ways to generate additional income.
  • Review and prepare monthly reports of results and accomplishments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Five+ years of experience in marketing, PR, digital communications, or events.
  • Proficient in digital and print communications, event management, and budget preparation.
