About the Role:
Position Overview
A skilled clinician with prior specialty experience is preferred, emphasizing the growth of knowledge and competencies. Regularly delivers high-quality direct care as part of a collaborative team for a diverse range of complex patients. Actively seeks and provides constructive feedback to enhance clinical practices. Takes on an initial clinical leadership role at the bedside and pursues mentorship in this journey. Engages as a member of relevant councils and quality teams, contributing to the enhancement of nursing-sensitive indicators, employee satisfaction, and patient experience metrics. Collaborates with team members to attract and maintain a high-caliber nursing staff. For new graduate clinical RNs: the focus is primarily on acquiring knowledge and skills while demonstrating growth in the ability to manage increasingly complex patient needs. Responsible for delivering direct and safe patient care in accordance with the nursing process, and for coordinating care for assigned patients during shifts to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Consultation with more experienced clinicians is essential, and feedback is embraced as a vital tool for professional development.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Licensure or Certifications: Must be licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia. Current National Professional Certification is mandatory.
- Educational Background: Associate's Degree. ADN or Diploma is required.
- Experience Requirements: ADN with 5 years of experience or BSN with 3 years of experience. Must demonstrate competence in RN II performance expectations or meet experience criteria upon hiring.
Attendance in NGHS Classes is required: Clinical Preceptor Course, DPM Huddle Facilitation Class, Charge Nurse Development Course (ANPD Frontline Nurse Leader Program). - Additional Requirements:
