Key Responsibilities
  • Perform first piece and first article inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to monitor ongoing adherence to quality standards.
  • Utilize various inspection tools and equipment for accurate product measurement and testing.
  • Interpret and apply relevant standards, including AS9102 and GD&T.
  • Document inspection findings, summarize rework and waste, and maintain quality databases.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and enhance processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members as required.

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing context.
  • Expertise in first piece and in-process inspections.
  • Strong understanding of AS9102 and GD&T.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in the use of various inspection tools and equipment.
  • Effective communication skills to convey quality issues and solutions.
