Quality Inspector Job Description

At Arcade Beauty, we are seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining our high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that equipment cleaning, sanitization, and job start-ups are performed correctly and properly recorded on forms.
  • Component Verification: Verify components brought into production area are correct as compared to the bill of materials and that bulk, laminate, tubes, bottles, etc. are accepted for use (approved and within expiration schedule).
  • Documentation Audits: Audit documentation that verifies materials, fills, codes, pressures, and markings (Run Instruction details) to ensure they meet specifications at different stages of the production run.
  • Case Packing: Verify that case packing meets specifications or, if directed by the QC Manager, revise specifications accordingly.
  • Operator Support: Help inform and remind machine operators/packers of what is needed when running and packing jobs.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to mechanics and production when necessary.
  • Auditing: Audit the work of process leads.
  • Record Keeping: Record results of inspection, sampling, and testing in a clear, complete, and correct manner in approved format on appropriate paperwork.
  • Rework Operations: Help monitor production workers during rework operations.
  • Quality Sampling: Collect required quality samples; collect, organize, and log-in quality retains.
  • Labeling: Print packer and case labels per specifications.
  • GMP Compliance: Help monitor all aspects of manufacturing for GMP compliance.
