Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at INW Capstone Nutrition. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the effective development and management of project timelines, product development, and product quoting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Development
    • Develop and manage project timelines from initiation to shipping.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and produce new products for customers.
    • Lead communication with customers on new projects.
  • Project Management
    • Responsible for managing project timelines, including formula approval, bill of material creation, quoting, material lead times, and purchase orders.
    • Communicate clearly and concisely with customers and Capstone leadership regarding project statuses and constraints.
  • Product Development
    • Assist with product specification creation for raw materials, packaging components, bulk products, and finished products.
    • Work with Document Control to initiate new SKU packaging specifications.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Be proactive in learning internal processes, software, and manufacturing best practices.
    • Attend and support internal meetings/huddles.
    • Customer advocate for both internal and external customers.
  • Problem-Solving
    • Assist with solutions to problematic formulations of existing products, as needed.
    • Assist with deviation investigation and generation as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • BS/BA preferred but not required.
    • PMP preferred.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in the Natural Products Industry.
    • Project Management experience beneficial.
  • Skills
    • Adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel, Word, and Project.
    • Strong computer skills in MRP system, internet, and email mandatory.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Ability to perform all tasks defined above.
    • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
    • Must be familiar with cGMP's.
    • Must possess the ability to develop and maintain a teamwork environment.
Internal Promotion Requirements
  • Experience
    • 5+ years in project management or demonstration of exceptional understanding of internal processes equivalent to 5 years of internal experience in sales.
  • Skills
    • Able to independently create all new SKUs without oversight.
    • Able to effectively lead meetings, teams, and manage customer expectations.
Work Conditions
  • Subject to normal warehouse and production environment.
  • Subject to high noise levels where hearing protection, and all personnel protective equipment (PPE) is required.
  • Subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, powders, dust, and other particles including allergens.
