Job Overview

The Culinary Service Associate plays a vital role in delivering food service and maintaining cleanliness within the facilities. This position encompasses various responsibilities including minor maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, healthy, and sanitary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Available for both Full Time and Part Time roles.
  • Utilize exceptional customer service skills to foster effective relationships with colleagues and the public.
  • Ensure the security of assigned areas.
  • Manage the opening and closing of facilities, including locking and unlocking as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed tasks.
  • Oversee the collection and distribution of recycling materials.
  • Regular attendance is crucial for this role.
  • Execute food service and custodial duties as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Operational Areas

The Culinary Service Associates will be assigned to various stations, including:

  • Beverage Stations: Set up, maintain, and clean.
  • Salad Bar: Set up, maintain, and clean.
  • Dining Room: Keep tables sanitized, manage dessert displays, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Scullery: Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure cleanliness of utensils.
  • Pan Room: Clean and sanitize cooking equipment.
  • Serving Lines: Prepare and serve meals while maintaining cleanliness.

Facility Maintenance

Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the building and facilities through the following tasks:

  • Mop and maintain tile and concrete floors.
  • Vacuum carpeted areas.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures as needed.
  • Sanitize washroom facilities and replenish supplies.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in entrance areas.
  • Ensure all food service areas are clean and compliant with health standards.

Essential Qualifications

Perform all custodial and kitchen duties while adhering to safety protocols. Candidates should be able to follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Skills and Experience
