  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of data analysis conducted through predictive analytics, risk adjustment, and value-based financial benchmark models.
  • Own the Data Science lifecycle, ensuring planning and execution of requests align with sprints and prioritization decisions.
  • Produce system-wide reporting and performance management dashboards and analyses.
  • Oversee the development of new models and paradigms for evaluating data or utilizing existing models.
  • Create data models and supporting data infrastructure.
  • Act as team technical lead, supervise reports, and provide oversight for completion of key analyses, dashboards, datasets, and models.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field of study, and 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Actuarial Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role.

Required Skills:
  • Manipulate and investigate data to provide insights within healthcare claims.
  • Utilize SQL and database management to query and manage data.
  • Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik to create dashboards and visualizations.
  • Working with healthcare workflows, medical and pharmacy claims, procedure and diagnostic codes, providers, and quality metrics including HEDIS.
  • Utilize data modeling tools like SQL or Python to automate workflows and design databases for analytic use.
  • Predict and identify healthcare utilization using claims data trends and patterns through statistical methods using claims data.

A drug screen and background check are required. The position is 40 hours per week, and the candidate must have authorization to work permanently in the United States.
