Therapist - Child and Family Healing Center

Estimated Annual Salary: $70,000 - $90,000

About UMFS and the Position

UMFS is committed to supporting vulnerable children and families through evidence-based treatments and collaborative care approaches. We are seeking skilled therapists to join our multidisciplinary team at the Child and Family Healing Center, where you will work closely with other professionals to deliver intensive residential treatment programs.

Responsibilities

This role involves providing a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, as well as case management services to youth who are mentally or emotionally disturbed and their families. You will also serve as a liaison for clients and their families with internal and external resource agencies.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field, and be licensed as an LCSW, LPC, or related professional, approved under the Virginia Board of Counseling or under supervision toward licensification. You will also require two to three years of direct experience providing direct clinical experience, behavioral interventions, and case management.
