Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine eligibility for physical therapy, incorporating standardized evaluations, functional outcome measures, observations, and interviews.
  • Develop personalized plans of care with clear SMART goals and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with legal guidelines.
  • Maintain open communication and collaboration with children, colleagues, professionals, and caregivers to ensure effective teamwork.
  • Participate in the evaluation, training, and management of assistive technology (AT) and equipment.
Requirements
  • A valid CA Physical Therapy license or be eligible pending licensure.
  • A strong passion for helping children overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical skills for successful collaboration, building trust, and establishing therapeutic rapport in a child-centered environment.
