Ryder Fuel Attendant Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fuel Attendant Technician to join our team at Ryder System, Inc. in Milford, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fuel, wash, and detail vehicles to ensure they are in excellent condition.
  • Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units, checking tire pressure, oil levels, and reporting any service issues to the shop.
  • Record fuel activity and maintain proper fuel and DEF inventories and reconciliation.
  • Move heavy-duty vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as tire repairs, under close supervision.
  • Maintain the fuel island area to Six Sigma standards and perform facility maintenance tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Two years or more of related work experience, preferred.
  • Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to understand customer verbal communication.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Understanding of computer hardware and software, especially word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
  • High degree of thoroughness and dependability.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including shift work, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred.
