Role Responsibilities:
The Inside Sales professional will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the external sales team and distribution members to expand the existing customer base and attract new clients.
- Meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining appropriate gross margins.
- Overseeing the purchasing process, which includes developing and executing commodity strategy plans, managing supplier relationships, and conducting price negotiations.
- Handling inventory control, quality assurance, and production oversight.

Candidate Profile:
- High School Diploma is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing sales or a related field.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.

- Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office for creating quotes, presentations, and documentation.
Key Duties:
- Generate new and repeat sales by delivering timely product and technical information to both current and prospective customers.
- Acquire accurate shipment information from vendors regarding delivery timelines.
- Monitor and manage scheduled shipments effectively.
- Assist in fulfilling requests for catalogs, informational materials, and samples in collaboration with Sales Representatives.
- Stay informed about customer preferences, local code changes, and product advancements.
- Identify and report trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
- Participate in scheduled physical inventory checks.
- Engage with walk-in customers as necessary.
- Oversee customer aging during order entry to ensure timely payments.
- Establish and nurture supplier relationships.
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management protocols.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties to facilitate the delivery and distribution of supplies and parts, ensuring material flow aligns with production schedules.
- Assist in expediting shipping and receiving processes through accurate documentation.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
