About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to join our team at Verily. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading the monthly financial planning and forecasting process for various business lines.

As a Strategic Financial Lead, you will drive visibility into business performance and enable decisions for the executive leadership team and business leads. You will work closely with finance and non-finance stakeholders to analyze the impact of proposed business decisions, including supporting deal pricing and profitability analysis for various product lines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial modeling and analysis. You will be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and have excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly financial planning and forecasting process for various business lines
  • Drive visibility into business performance and enable decisions for the executive leadership team and business leads
  • Work with finance and non-finance stakeholders to analyze the impact of proposed business decisions
  • Analyze key performance indicators and develop financial models and decision-making tools
  • Work well across various teams with strong project management skills to coordinate between multiple groups in order to deliver projects on time
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and mentorship skills to develop and manage high-performing teams
  • Influence key decision makers in the Company to deliver on long-term growth and profitability of the Company

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Finance
  • 10+ years relevant work experience in finance, management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking or similar role
  • Understanding of accounting processes and terminology
  • Proven Microsoft Excel skills, and other database, automation or business intelligence skills
  • Relevant experience in Digital Health, Healthcare services, Biotech or Pharma preferred

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $155,000 - $265,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
