Job SummaryABBTECH Professional Resources is seeking a dedicated IT Service Management Engineer to enhance our cybersecurity operations. This role is integral to our Security Engineering and Operations (SE&O) team, which is responsible for maintaining robust infrastructure and security tools.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate Service Management processes to ensure prompt incident response and collaborate with engineering teams for service restoration.
- Independently manage requests for approved services, ensuring thorough tracking of data and customer satisfaction.
- Create and manage incident tickets for service disruptions, performing triage and coordinating actions for service restoration.
- Engage with engineering teams to ensure efficient resolution of all incident tickets.
- Collaborate with the Information Systems Security Officer to enhance incident response processes and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 4-8 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of experience.
- Strong desire to expand knowledge in cybersecurity and support tools.
- Basic understanding of networking, virtualization, and server maintenance.
- Ability to analyze data from diverse sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to document and convey the status of requests and incidents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Red Hat Linux and Windows systems.
- Background in helpdesk support.
- Experience in a Security Operations Center as an analyst or engineer.
- Familiarity with Next Generation Firewall features and automation tools.
- Experience managing SSL and IPSEC VPN clients.
