Position Overview

As a Housekeeping Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting senior management in overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and regularly update operational standards and procedures for all housekeeping personnel.
  • Plan and organize work schedules to guarantee efficient service delivery.

  • Coordinate with external service providers for specialized tasks such as pest control and waste management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree, military experience, or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a housekeeping or service-oriented environment.
  • Proven track record of advancement in healthcare housekeeping or facility management is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Capable of maintaining organization in a dynamic and high-pressure setting.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, adaptability, and leadership qualities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of contract management and administrative procedures.
  • Availability for a standard day shift with a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.
  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed.

Military Transferable Skills:

  • Experience as a Non-Commissioned Officer with skills in logistics planning and management.
  • Supervisory experience in a military setting, managing teams of 15 or more personnel.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  • Experience in training and developing junior personnel.
  • Competence in preparing cost and labor estimates.
