Part-Time School Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a substitute nurse in a school setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing school health services, promoting a healthy and safe environment, and acting as a consultant and resource in physical and mental health education.
Key Responsibilities- Provide school health services, including administering medications, responding to medical emergencies, and monitoring student health
- Support students with significant health-related issues, working closely with teachers and other staff members to ensure their needs are met
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and healthcare providers to develop individualized plans for students with complex health needs
- Promote a healthy and safe school environment through education, training, and community outreach
- Act as a consultant and resource in physical and mental health education, developing curriculum and instructional materials as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN or LPN license
- Experience working with students with diverse health needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
